We both know that there is no way we could have come this far alone. There are many contributors that have brought their passions and art-forms together to create art for MYTH OF THE WEST. We'd love to say thank you to them all for this, and allow you guys to check out some of their own personal artwork they create on their own.

MODELS:

Alayna Tinney:  Printmaker / Artist Alayna is the mastermind behind our beautiful tumbleweed logo illustration. She studied Art at UC Santa Cruz and currently lives in Oakland CA. You can check out her art at some local shops in the East Bay such as Tail of the Yak in Berkeley. Alayna also modeled for our SS14 and SS16 Collections.

Eve Arbel: Painter/ Artist Eve modeled for us for our current SS14 Season. However, she is an accomplished artist in her own right. Studying Fine Art at UC Berkeley and currently living in Berkeley CA. Her thoughtful oil paintings have been displayed in shows such as PROCESS PORTRAIT hosted at the Firehouse Art Collective in North Berkeley.

Haley Summerfield: Haley modeled for our Fall/Winter 2014 collection and went above and beyond for us, coming back for a second session when we had some photo issues after the first shoot. Thanks to Haley's help we were able to get photos for our etsy shop at the last minute.

Shimeko: Shimeko is an amazing model, who helped us out at our Fall/Winter 2014 photo shoot. In addition to modeling she is also a professional stylist at the Marquee Salon in Oakland.

Anisha Narayan: Anisha is a model at City Model Management in San Francisco, she was our muse for our Spring/Summer 2015 photoshoot.

Melissa Ramos: Melissa was our model for the Fall/Winter 2015 photo shoot. She went above and beyond by riding around the skateboard we had brought along as a prop. She is represented by City Model Management in San Francisco

PHOTOGRAPHERS:

Gigie Hall: Photographer/ Artist Gigie Hall sees the vision for MYTH OF THE WEST through the lens of her camera. Though she studied Gender Studies with an emphasis in visual culture and media at UC Berkeley. She is a natural photographer with an art-focused mind who helps us to create a scene amongst dreamy landscapes. Karly Stark: Karly is an experimental filmmaker/photographer, educator, and curator who calls the Bay Area home. She holds a BA in Film Studies from UC Berkeley and is currently pursuing an MFA in Cinema from San Francisco State University, where she works as a Teaching Associate/Lecturer. Her work passionately leans toward portraiture, queer sexuality and politics, interrogating history and its production, bodies, performance, and poetry. www.karlystark.com

Hannah Bellon: Hannah studied photography at the Fashion Institute of Technology, and is currently based in New York City. She is a professional product photographer, but is also a wonderful portrait and editorial photographer. She has a great sense of composition and an eye for light and color. www.hannahbellon.com
